Advisory Board Application

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Thursday, November 28, 2024, by 5:00 PM.

ELECTION: The election of up to five advisory board members will be conducted on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM, during the NMBBID meeting.  Candidates may attend this meeting in order to provide a two-minute statement regarding their qualifications prior to the vote being taken. 

NEW BOARD MEMBER TERM: Newly elected members will serve a term of two years from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026. There are no term limits.  

IMPORTANT

  • If a candidate is representing a business, a certified letter from said business owner authorizing the representative must be uploaded as an attachment to this application.
  • Candidate statements are optional.  If you choose to include a candidate statement (no more than 200 words), it must be uploaded as part of this application. The statement should express your qualifications for membership on the board. Statements will be provided to all members of the NMBBID for consideration.
