Artist Submission Information:
​*SUBMISSION OF ARTIST APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE*
For artists under 18, please include a parent/guardian’s name for contact. Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration. Artwork exhibited in a previous MBAC exhibition will not be accepted. The following artwork will not be accepted: video art, artwork that makes a sound, or artwork that requires power. 2D Artwork cannot exceed 72 inches. No artwork shall be removed early from the exhibition without prior written authorization from the Cultural Arts Supervisor or Manager and the artist or guardian. All artwork accepted for the exhibition must be delivered to Manhattan Beach Art Center hang-ready.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Application Period - April 4th, 2025 through June 1st, 2025

Acceptance - Artist will be notified of their acceptance by email on June 20

Delivery of Art - Must arrive at the Manhattan Beach Art Center July 7 - July 11, from 10:00am - 4:00pm

Pick Up of Art - All art MUST be picked up from the Manhattan Beach Art Center October 6 - October 10, from 10:00am - 4:00pm

Opening Reception - Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Exhibition - July 25, 2025 - October 5, 2025

Gallery Hours - Wednesdays & Thursdays 10:00am - 9:00pm Friday - Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm
